Malinche

We climbed the Malinche Mountain yesterday for Family day,the wives and the kids stayed back at a nice picnic and recreational area at the bottom of the mountain while the men and the boys climbed. We had a guide to show us the best path.It was a 3 and 1/2 hour climb(which was fast compared to the usual 4 and 1/2 hours people normally take to climb it) and around 2 hours going back down. We started with 7 of us but only three of us made it to the top. It’s the 5th highest mountain in Mexico,at 4461 Meters there was ice and strong winds and we also got quite sunburned.Troy almost made it to the top with only like 45 minutes left to the top,not bad for a 8 year old kid,Anthony (10) got tired right almost away so he went back with Julie, while Jono and Troy persisted quite well and saw a coyote and a mountain goat. There were some scary precipices to go through especially with the strong cold wind which knocked you off balance, but we made it.On the way down there were sandy area where the mountain springs usually flowed but were dry so we used them as paths on the way down and Jonathan and I ran down those paths, the sand cushioned our steps and allowed us to go down quite fast almost like sledding/snowboarding or something to that effect.

water4gas

I found this site called water4gas.com which says you can improve your mileage by up to 100 percent,I’m thinking about installing one on my car,it’s a device/ glass jar that you fill with water and baking soda and connect it to the battery and with that electric current and a coil inside the jar among other things it will create a type of gas which will come out from the 2 hoses coming out of the jar which in turn connect into the air intake and the other hose to where the PCV valve is, thus it will supplement the gas usage by using a little bit of the gas called HHO(A type of hydrogen, but it never stores any so it’s not dangerous) or browns’ gas and that gas goes in at the same time as the oxigen and makes the car to run smoother as if it was running on a higher octane gas and supposedly cleans out your catalytic converter and your emissions are extremely lower. And supposedly it increases power too.It can be made cheaply from parts easily found at hardware stores and usually costs between 60-100 dollars to make it yourself and about 15 minutes to install once it is all put together. I wonder if anyone has tried it and if it worked well for them.Supposedly people from all over the world have tried it and it’s just a matter of tweaking it for best results.Actually the technology is about 90 years old, when the first water powered car was invented.

That was a great way to spend 600 pesos.I found the Nochebuena beer (which is the cream of the crop of the beers here) half off , 100 pesos for 2 boxes of 12 each. And then us guys made the food, Angus steak ,arab tortillas, flour and corn tortillas, bell peppers, melted Monterrey Jack cheese,Portebello mushrooms among other things.img_0018.jpgimg_0019.jpgimg_0017.jpgimg_0016.jpg

Jono made about 12 different types of salsas.
And we had some big nachos grandes to go with it and Jonathan is overwhelmed with all that it entails to finish making the guacamolito sauce.Long live taco town and 15 great flavors all rolled into one!

That was a great day at the Water park somewhere near Cuernavaca, one of the homes from Cuernavaca came too.The scariest ride was the stuka which was an 100 meter almost vertical slide which you go down in 3 seconds.

We had a great anniversary.

Furthermore, that was a great vacation for 2 days, Angie and I especially enjoyed staying at a Hotel that had a Jacuzzi.

Then the planetarium was such a dizzying experience, it was a documentary about exploring caves and finding cures in the bacteria found in underground springs.
I was always talking about how great it would be to go to an IMAX threatre to watch an epic movie like”beowulf ” but instead we watched that boring documentary.
