We got a jar of veggiemite given to us,and Angie made on our WNR toasted bagels w/ cheese sanwiches and Veggiemite,Very nice! I like!
To Sara(Gia),Sorry,we don’t have any new photos of the kids right now,at least none worth looking at.But…as soon as we take new ones we will post them.Angie doesn’t post here, she could if she wanted to, she prefers just to tell me what to write and vetoes things she doesn’t like and she contributes a lot to the posts with pictures and stuff with out actually posting it herself.
These are from a road trip to Cuautla,Morelos.

I got back from my visit to “Deep in the Heart of Texas” and now we are deep in the …heart of Mexico. We have been having 0-5 degrees weather here in Puebla.I haven’t been taking any pics for quite a while because our camera doesn’t really work, I have to admit my blog is getting pretty boring without any pics and my constantly changing themes. Angie and the kids had gone back earlier and I stayed a few extra days in Texas and then in Northern Mexico to do an event there.
The event was like torture working grueling 15-18 hour days mostly it was the low quality Mexican Christian music blaring out of like 8 boom boxes located at the different stands around us ;in front of us behind us,beside us,each
stand had their ranchero, regueton, quebraditas, norteno,Marcos Witt, anyone with half a voice and microphone would have record their CD’s and people would buy them, some of them were totally off key or some ladies singing had this screeching nasal whiny sound if you can call that singing, blaring at incredibly loud decibels,Thank God for our decent music like Salt of Earth and Amigo del Alma.It kind of
reminds me of how the Army would play super loud sounds to demoralize the people hiding inside their
hideouts like they did in Waco and in Panama with Noriega but at the event their intention was supposed to be a pleasant experience to get people to buy the CD’s. So imagine 5 days of that,it’s enough to drive anyone crazy but eventually as everything it
passed and the event went well and it finished well,we lived through it and we celebrated the end of the event with KFC chicken and Caguamas before
heading home the next day.As we drove through Mexico City some corrupt police pulled us
over at 1 AM and managed to scare the driver of our van into giving them 700 pesos.ARGH!
Yesterday Angie had her Birthday and Thanksgiving happened yesterday and Lisa had her baby before yesterday,
we haven’t been able to celebrate anything yet as a lot of people are gone to Chiapas right now so we will celebrate when they get back.
Here’s a poem I read.
Try again
Life is a long, bumpy road
We each carry our troubles, like a heavy load
there are many hard turns and some dead ends
But whenever we’re stuck we must try again
No one’s got an easy ride
but failure can be pushed aside
When we give up hope nothing good can happen
So when all seems lost you must try again
You can’t have a meal if you don’t sit at a table
you won’t learn the moral if you don’t read the fable, you can’t
take control if you’re plagued by inaction
and you won’t overcome loss if you don’t try again
When the coins’ in the air,if you don’t pick heads or tails
having not made a choice you’re bound to fail
But if you choose and choose wrong
you can always still win because on the next flip you can still try again
Those who succeed seem to have it made,
basking in the sunshine or basking in the shade,
But they’ve been down too and it was then they picked themselves up and tried again
So when your spirit is weak and you need to cry,
and you want to be happy but you have to sigh
when things seem bleakest ,that’s the time when you must
shrug it off and try,try again.

We watched Borat. It was great. I could have done without some of the scenes in there, but overall
it was funny .
The whole audience at the theatre was laughing at every little thing which was kind of annoying,
not to mention it was so packed that a few people sat on the steps instead of squeezing thru the aisle
to find some single seats here and there. Then we took off to Bennigans ,which had the best margaritas ever.Michael now drives a cadillac…imagine that. It’s not new but it’s a caddy.
