Angie came back from Rosarito on Tuesday, all the plans changed. We watched "V for vendetta" on the projector the other night. It was like having a mini-theater in the home. I watched quite a few of the NBA playoffs recently ,the Spurs got knocked off as well as the Lakers .So now it’s East and West finals, the Pistons against the Heat and the Mavericks against the Suns,it looks like the Suns are a very good team. Angie and Paula went out and took a photo shoot  at a photo studio place.I will post them soon.

I discovered an Energy drink called rockstar which has Orange,Mango and Passion fruit juice.I really liked it. Here’s in the U.S there are a myriad of energy drinks but not all of them taste that great.

funny,odd and other things

Today I  went to Corona ,nice town it sure deserves that name.

I  saw a church  or some kind of building that was called the "Independent Order of the Odd fellows and Rebekahs"…what the….

On a car I saw  someone had written on it with a large white marker "Code Da Vinci  ….. Mene Mene Tekkel Up harsin" he’s  probably trying to say that it’s the writing on the wall and a sign of the end of days ; that Babylon and her empire have seen better days.I haven’t seen the movie(code da vinci), I would like to although it wouldn’t be as a form of entertainment but more of an informative movie to see what kind of lies are woven into it. A few days before I was discussing about it with a Pastor who is from Mexico and he was saying that he was going to see it to get an idea what  people are watching that  debunks the story of  Jesus which are just theories, just like evolution designed to make people lose their faith in God. People will be watching  it and have been buying the book and he wants to be able to answer questions from people who have seen it and lost their faith in christianity.I hear most Christians are in an uproar about that movie. There’s definitly a polarization of  the masses of people going one way or the other, and less people staying in the grey, undecided.

It’s all in a days’ work.

Finally on a computer

I finally got on a computer. I had been using my PDA to get online but for some reason,a lot of things didn’t work; like my password to get on my website among other things . I  haven’t posted anything in a while due to my fundraising every day,I have been faithful to keep an average of 8 hrs. of fundraising every day,and thanks to  the Lord’s help putting in the effort has gone well. We are in California right now and it’s been nice. I went with Philly and Paula to  NTL’s  B-day party in L.A.  for a BBQ yesterday and played some soccer with the kids there. More news later.I’ve been wanting to go to the movies,so I went to check the ticket prices and they cost 10 dollars!?So of course,I didn’t watch any movie.

The discounted theater is 3.75.I remember when the dollar theater was like a  dollar and that was just like a couple of years ago.At least in Puebla, Mexico you can go for the new releases for only 2.5 dollars and some  places only 1.5.I think the price of the discounted theater is up to par with the price of a gallon of gas and kind of follows that. Just  my guess.I went today to San Diego on fundraising shop to shop and I didn’t quite hit the jackpot instead drove around looking for mexican areas,it seems like the area I did today was all Thai and Chinese it was one of those wandering around fruitlessly  days, but hear this , just now  I had an appointment with a bookstore at 8:30 at night  and they bought a bunch of stuff so that salvaged my day,so today was not a  defeat. I bought one of those 1 dollar "feeling lucky" lottery ticket so I scratched it and I won another free ticket so I scratched another one and I didn’t win anything, so I guess I’m not so lucky,or maybe gambling is stupid. You  sure can’t make a living off of that that’s for sure.

I was just rereading the GN about being a Maximizer and I hope I can be one of the Maximizers in the home when I get back to Mexico and not anything less. I’m probably somewhere in between though.  In a way I kind of miss Mexico, but it has been very fun and always something new happening all the time, people visiting, the people here  have all been  very nice though and sweet and now I’m starting to feel like I will miss this home when I leave . There’s a lot of perks about being here too, like for example there are freeways here and in Mexico if you want to get anywhere without your trip  taking hours to get there you have to take the toll road.,and they charge you to use the bathroom,it’s just a standard thing there, they also charge to park at a lot of the malls and shopping centers…

Angie and the kids are in Rosarito along with Phil and Paula among other mothers with their kids until thursday because of the work happening in the house ,y so that means Angie and the kids  will be gone longer but it should be relaxing for them at the beach.

All the people who went to wordstock all tell me it was fun. Too bad I didn’t go,not like it was even a possibilty, but yeah ,everyone that went was on a wordstock high for a few days until it wore off and they had to have some nightly pool  parties to reminisce in their noltsalgic stories of wordstock and get back into gear of being back home. There’s some cool new music from "Salt of the Earth" they released their album . I would have liked to see gypsy child play their music. I would like to start a band one day, when I’m around 40 or so..heh!That’s my goal at least it gives me a lot of time.
