basketball and other news.
Hectic week. Last weekend I went to San Luis Potosi for a Christian women’s event with Ben,Seiko and Sara and Hannah Banana.It was 8 hrs away so it took us 2 days of travelling there and back.
On the event days we would get at 6 am and go to sleep at 12 at night. On the way back we stopped by the SSU in Cuernavaca briefly which was nice.
On Monday instead of having rest day us three Jonathan’s,Jono ,Jonathan and Jonny respectively went to Mexico City for a basketball game where a bunch of other guys from other homes in Mexico city and corny cow came,we went by bus and they just so happened to have a bus promotion for half price.With all the travelling and whatnot and metros and traffic it took us around 4 hours each way and 3 hours of basketball,I hadn’t had get out for a couple of months so I was out of shape,but I manage to shoot a couple of baskets,all the other guys seem to practice every day,but at least my team had some good players so we won a couple of games and lost a couple .Then since that counted as our rest day,even though that same day we unloaded the truck from an event I went to San Luis Potosi and counted all the material which turned out to be like 2 hours of work as well.So this whole week I have been wiped out.
Plus on friday was another killer day getting up at 4 am going to the American Embassy and thank God we are through with that.
And at last it’s my rest day!
