Only once a year

On the auspicious day of my birthday July 15th,2005 I got this Googley eyed Birthday Zebra pic, u can appreciate the artistic grainy look of  this high quality digital pic..it’s actually  a card I got  from Michael and Peter,I keep it on my wall.As always,year after year, I seem to always  get very humurous cards.I got a kite and a kaleidoscope and a mini eiffel tower,very imaginative presents.

These postcards/cards I got for my birthday  from my cousin Melody who visited  China this year  and at some point she made a trip to France. 

Aunt Rita and her daughters  Ruthie and Laurie also recently visited France to have a cultural and educational  field trip and vacation recently.Aunt Rita and Melody speak  french fluently and Aunt Rita teaches french in high school. I hadn’t seen them for quite  a few years because we had been abroad for so long and far away,so it was  good to catch up on what they were all up to and their latest news.

Trip to Cordoba,Veracruz

I went on a 3 day road trip to Cordoba, Veracruz, home of the famous coffee bean plantations,had a couple of  their cafe de olla cups and it sure beats nescafe instant coffee any day!  There was some  typical/regional folkloric veracruzano tap-dancers at a restaurant nearby the zocalo and tourists even come to this quaint little town,something must attract the tourists to this town maybe it’s the coffee or the  tropical fauna or wildlife  ,or maybe the frienly locals.
